Abstracts Submission
We invite our global colleagues to submit abstracts for presentation at the Congress in Sao Paulo, Brazil, August 1-4, 2012.
Abstracts must be submitted via internet only to abstract@skincancer2012.com.
Important Dates
The absolute deadline for receipt of abstracts by the Program Committee is April 15, 2012 for the Oral Communications and Posters.
Type of Presentation
Authors should indicate the presentation preference as below. Please note that the final decision on acceptance for presentation will be made by the Scientific Committee and communicated two months before the Congress.
- Oral presentation: The abstract is selected for oral presentation at free communications sessions.
- Poster presentation: The abstract is selected for presentation in a poster format.
Instructions
- Abstracts must be written in English and submitted in word format only in Arial 12 font, single space.
- Title: Use a concise title that indicates the content of the abstract. The complete title should be capitalized and should not exceed 30 words. Refrain from using abbreviations in the title.
- Authors: Names and surnames for each author must be provided. Do not include degrees or titles. Presenting authors’ names will be underlined and corresponding authors’ name will be in bold.
- Affiliations: Each author should be listed by department, institution and country.
- Keywords: A minimum of three (3) keywords, summarizing the contents of the abstract, should be entered.
- Text: Abstracts should not exceed 250 words. Abstracts will be reproduced exactly as submitted and will not be edited in any way.
- No references, tables, charts or drawings are allowed.
Online Submission
Receipt of your abstract submission will be confirmed by e-mail. This confirmation of abstract receipt is NOT a notice of acceptance of your abstract.
Only abstracts of authors who have paid their registration fees will be scheduled for presentation and included in the Book of Abstracts.
Please do not submit multiple copies of the same abstract.
*The selected oral presentations will be presented during free communications sessions and the selected posters will be displayed throughout the meeting. The rules for both oral and posters presentation will be sent with confirmation of acceptance.
